Saudi Group for Thoracic Surgery (SGTS)

We would like to welcome you to the Saudi Group for Thoracic Surgery (SGTS). SGTS is created by a group of Thoracic Surgeons from Saudi Arabia who are expert in the field of Thoracic Surgery and working under the umbrella of the Saudi Thoracic Society (STS). SGTS is a non-profit group and its main office is within the STS office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. SGTS is devoted to increase the awareness and knowledge of Thoracic Surgery and to promote research in the field of Thoracic Surgery.

Mission & Vision

Mission

To collaborate between the team members in order to optimize the management of all aspects of Thoracic Surgery patients. This close collaboration should promotes ongoing researches on clinical, basic science as well as epidemiology.

Vision

To become a regional leader and international participant to contribute in the advancement in the field of thoracic surgery.

Goals
  • To conduct educational activities for the public and health care professionals.
  • To conduct research projects in the various fields of thoracic surgery.
  • To establish collaboration with other regional and international thoracic surgery societies.
  • To establish national data for thoracic surgery diseases.
